Glide through the flooded trees of Bangladesh's only freshwater swamp forest.
What you'll do
From June to October the trees of Ratargul stand in clear green water. A local boatman paddles you slowly between the trunks while I point out kingfishers, monitor lizards and the watchtower view. Outside the monsoon we walk the forest edge and visit a fishing village instead. Life jackets are provided and the boats take up to four people each.
