Khulna

Khulna, located in the southwestern part of Bangladesh, is famous for the Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest and home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. The division is primarily industrial, with a focus on jute, textiles, and shrimp farming. Despite its industrial nature, Khulna offers a variety of natural attractions, including rivers, canals, and forests. The city of Khulna itself is known for its laid-back atmosphere and proximity to both the Sundarbans and the historical city of Bagerhat, home to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Sixty Dome Mosque.
