About Sumon
I grew up on a tea estate outside Sreemangal and have guided travellers for nine years. I know every trail in Lawachara, the best time to see hoolock gibbons and the families who make the seven-colour tea. I also take groups to Hakaluki Haor in the monsoon and to Madhabpur Lake. Most of my guests are foreign visitors and Dhaka families on a long weekend. I speak English and Bangla and can arrange CNG and jeep transport.

A calm half day around Madhabpur Lake. Sumon was patient with our endless photo stops.
Two perfect days. Sumon sorted the jeep, the lunch stops and even taught us how to pluck tea leaves. Highly recommended for first-timers.
Sumon knew every trail in Lawachara and found us a family of hoolock gibbons within an hour. The tea factory visit was a highlight.
