Learn the running stitch of nakshi kantha from village women who have sewn quilts for generations.

Nakshi kantha is the embroidered quilt of rural Bengal. In this workshop you sit with a group of women from a Jessore village, learn the basic stitches and start your own small piece, which you take home. We finish with tea and pitha.
