We start with a short walk through the spice lanes of Chawkbazar to buy what we need. Back at my family home you will learn to make bhuna khichuri, shorshe ilish and a simple payesh for dessert. Everything is hands-on and vegetarian versions are easy. We finish with a long lunch on the rooftop looking over Old Dhaka. You leave with recipe cards and a small box of spices.
